Where did the morning go?
Emails, phone calls, drafting letters, organizing paperwork, updating project lists, checking Twitter to see what’s going on in the world of work and the real world…there is so much busywork in keeping stuff going. And that’s not even counting the real work of coming up with ideas, writing pitches, tweaking photos so they look decent enough to accompany those pitches, researching the people or places I’ll be writing about, drafting a list of questions or crafting a way into the story. It’s not all lounging around, waiting for inspiration to show up while eating bon bons.
That being said, there has been plenty of bon bon eating this week. Or more like bon bon drinking. And from my conversations with Pomme, Elle and Walls, I’m not the only one. This Mercury retrograde finishes when?
