Brutalist chandeliers

Jaw…floor.

Yesterday I interviewed Corinne Grassini of The Society For Rational Dress at her home in Los Feliz. She had three of these. Compelling and repellent at the same time, they worked perfectly in her amazingly beautiful home. If you don’t believe me, you’ll just have to wait until RUE, issue 5, comes out, sometime in the next few weeks.

The burns and holes are left when the raw metal is torch cut, leaving something that resembles a cross between lace and burnt autumn leaves, in shades of black, gold and bronze. Some names to look for: Curtis Jere, Tom Greene, Harry Weese.

I want I want I want.
